Here’s an interesting idea:  what if your favorite cartoon characters were to fuse with each other to become one character?  Here’s a list of fusions that I created with the help and submissions of many others. These fusions came about using either the Fusion Dance or Potara Earrings, both of which come from the anime Dragon Ball Z.

Firstly, for those of you who are unfamiliar with DBZ’s Fusion Dance, it’s a dance that’s short yet complicated, where the two fusing people have to move exactly the same while saying the word “Fusion-Ha!”  All fusions done with this dance feature the characters wearing an open black vest with either orange or yellow puffy trim around the shoulders and the collar of the vest; the vest itself is small, covering none of the stomach and very little of the chest (for the sake of female fusions, let’s just say that the vest is closed, but is still showing the stomach area).  The outfit also contains black wristbands and has white Gi pants that are baggy and are held up with either a black or dark green cloth belt (which, due to its length, tends to hand down to the side of the leg).  The boots are black with either black or dark green cloth wrapping around the tops of them.  It goes to note that, with some fusions, the belt color can be different, but this is the clothing that is always worn when a person does the Fusion Dance; the only exception to this is if the fusing pair performs the Fusion Dance while nude.  If done with no clothes on, then the two will fuse in that same way, with no clothing on.  This type of fusion lasts for about 30 minutes and, once the one becomes two again, will take 60 minutes before they can fuse again.

The Potara Earrings are different, in which one person wears one on their left ear and another wears one on their right ear.  This will cause the two to come together and become fused.  Their clothing will meld together into a combination of what they were wearing, such as a person with a red shirt and blue jeans fusing with a person with a blue shirt and blue jeans, resulting in a person with a purple shirt and blue jeans; their clothing could even become mixed to create a whole new outfit (the only exception to this is if the two are nude when they put on the Potara Earrings).  This type of fusion is permanent and, as of current knowledge, can only be undone by magical happenings; in short, two who use the Potara Earrings should know of someone or something that can magically separate them.

Lastly, all fusions that took place with Potara Earrings will also describe their clothing and skills, while ones from the Fusion Dance will just tell of their skills.  And I shall also do my best to tell where every character comes from.  Also, I may get creative along the way, introducing multiple character fusions, such as two fusing with Potara Earrings and then that new creation fusing with a third person via the Fusion Dance (or vice versa).  Finally, for those wondering, I consider video game characters to be cartoons that you have control over, and comic strips to be cartoons that aren’t animated in a sequence.

Ryu (Street Fighter) + Goku (Dragon Ball Z) = Gryko (fighter with increased power, the ability to transform into a Super Saiya-jin, and can perform a devastating move called the KamehameHadoken)

Ryu (Street Fighter) + Goku (DBZ) = Rykou (same attire as Goku, except with no undershirt, a Gi that’s white instead of orange, and has a red headband; fighter with increased power, the ability to transform into a Super Saiya-jin, and can perform a devastating move called the KamehameHadoken)

Ed (Ed, Edd n Eddy) + Billy (The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy) = Bedly (increased strength with twice the stupidity and a bigger nose; this being would also now have a chin)

Dee Dee (Dexter’s Laboratory) + Billy (The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy) = Bee Bee (the size of this being evens out and has a huge nose; would also have low intelligence but high agility)

Edd (Ed, Edd n Eddy) + Dexter (Dexter’s Laboratory) = Deddxter (smart, taller, and has a tendency to be a shy know-it-all with a German accent; still won’t take off his hat)

Kuki (Codename:  Kids Next Door) + Bubbles (Powerpuff Girls) = Kubikes (highly spirited operative with super powers; has the largest collection of stuffed animals known to anyone)

Piccolo (Dragon Ball Z) + Zim (Invader Zim) = Ziccomo (wears Piccolo’s Gi, but it’s colored like Zim’s outfit; would have dreams of taking over the world instead of just destroying it, and can make its own army by regurgitating eggs that hatch into minions that resemble it)

Vash (Trigun) + Jigen (Lupin the 3rd) = Vigashen (an extremely accurate sharp shooter with great skills in theft)

Samurai Jack + Goemon (Lupin the 3rd) = Jacogemon (extremely deadly samurai with great skills in theft)

Mandy (The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy) + Gaz (Invader Zim) = Ganzy (cute little girl who would be a dangerous force to mess with; need I describe the chaos that would ensue?)

Peter Griffin + Homer Simpson = Petomer (fatter, crazier, and would consume more beer than one could imagine)

Alucard + Vash (Trigun) = Vashucard (combining Vash’s nice-guy attitude with Alucard’s crazy murder tendencies gets you…an immortal bipolar freak of nature)

Hiei (Yu Yu Hakusho) + Vegeta (DBZ) = Higatei (a princely demon with a third eye and the power of a Super Saiya-jin)

Timmy Turner (Fairly Odd Parents) + Kenshin Himura = Choc-o-liti Boy-tousai the Mel Slayer

Cloud (Final Fantasy VII) + Future Trunks (DBZ) = Crouks (an incredibly powerful warrior with a complicated past; I’m thinking Super Saiya-jin OmniSlash, with a Burning Attack on the remains)

Squall (Final Fantasy VIII) + Future Trunks (DBZ) = Squnks (another incredibly powerful warrior with a complicated past; I’m thinking Super Saiya-jin LionHeart, with a Burning Attack on the remains)

Johnny Bravo + Brolly (DBZ) = Bronnlly (an ultra muscled Super Saiya-jin with good looks and a thirst for blood and babes)

Kurillin (DBZ) + Nigel Uno (Codename:  KND) = Nurigin (a powerful KND agent who has bad luck with women; he may be unable to participate in missions during the 30 minute fusion, though…)

Goku (DBZ) + Akuma (Street Fighter) = Gokuma (a demon fighter with the power of a Super Saiya-jin and several deadly attacks, including the Metsatsu go Kamehameha)

Starfire (Teen Titans) + Dexter (Dexter’s Laboratory) = Starxter (a character with an irritating accent and an even more irritating vocabulary)

Dante (Devil May Cry) + Future Trunks (DBZ) = Trantes (a half demon badass with the abilities of a Super Saiya-jin; combine that with this Demon Mode, and you have one unstoppable warrior)

Eiji (Battle Arena Toshinden) + Cloud (FFVII) = Cleijud (a powerful swordsman who’s deadly when you combine the power of the Hyakki Moushuu Ken with the OmniSlash)

Excel Excel (Excel Saga) + Starfire (Teen Titans) = Exfire (a psycho girl with super powers, odd vocabulary, and a low I.Q.; also likes to perform stupid missions)

Olga (Hey Arnold!) + Starfire (Teen Titans) = Stolgafi (an overachieving girl who’s perky, cute, and has superpowers)

King (Tekken) + El Turro Fuerte (Jackie Chan Adventures) = King of Bulls (a masked wrestler with the agility of a tiger, the strength of a bull, and the speed and wisdom of both combined)

Wolverine (X-Men) + Vegeta (DBZ) = Weapon SSJ (A Super Saiya-jin Berserker that could use his Ki energy to power up his claws and create one heck of a Berserker Barrage; when you combine the facts that Saiya-jins get stronger after battles and that Wolverine has a healing factor, and you have a nearly invincible warrior)

Tenshenhan (DBZ) + Cyclops (X-Men) = Cyclenhan (a fighter with great martial art skills and the ability to make copies of himself; with three eyes, his optic blast just got stronger)

Kuja (FFIX) + Amakusa (Samurai Shodown) = Amakuja; a pessimistic, melodramatic villain who says damn near everything twice (especially his name).  He loves kidnapping maidens and stealing their power to blow things up.  His goal is to take over the world, then destroy it.  His appearance would make his gender as baffling as that as Poision (Final Fight).

Dr. Doom + Thanos = Dr. Thoon (a villain who has beaten damn near EVERYONE’S ass, AND he’s immortal)

Mega Man + Astro Boy = Mega Boy (shirtless with a weird looking helmet shaped hair while wearing blue pants and red boots; to be honest, there wouldn’t be much of a change with this fusion, other than an increase in strength)

Lupin the 3rd + Spike Spiegel = Spin Spiegel III, the toughest mofo on the planet

Danny Phantom + Beast Boy (Teen Titans) = Anima (a ghost that could transform into animals and would make a great spy)

Kim Possible + Robin (Teen Titans) = Astonishing Phoenix (a hero that can beat ANYONE and NEVER gets hit by anything)

Lion-O (ThunderCats) + He-Man = Leo-Man (By the power of GreySkull, I call upon the ThunderCats, Hoooooooooooo!)

Angemon (Digimon) + Vash (Trigun) = Vangelmon (powerful angelic creature of light; using the angel arm to initiate the Fist of Fate would be devastating)

Robin (Teen Titans) + Kilik (Soul Caliber) = Robilik (a super hero with increased fighting skills while using the kali Yuga)

Inuyasha + Sephiroth (FFVII) = Insuphirath (a red trench coat, no shirt, black Gi pants, and one heck of a sword makes this one-winged half demon a force to be reckoned with)

Scooby Doo + Courage (Courage the Cowardly Dog) = Scourage (twice as scared but twice as brave when you give it a Scourage Snack)

Inuyasha + Sephiroth (FFVII) = Senpuyisha (a one-winged half demon that’s a force to be reckoned with)

Alvin (Alvin & the Chipmunks) + Dennis the Menace = Dalvis (a disastrous hazard just waiting to happen)

Vegeta (DBZ) + Daffy Duck = Dafeta (the prince of all ducks, this creature is twice as arrogant, gets beat up twice a much, and is twice as much of a second banana; has a sinister, hissy voice with a lisp, despite having the powers of a Super Saiya-jin)

Carl (Aqua Teen Hunger Force) + Homer Simpson (The Simpsons) = Comal (would probably have Homer’s shoes, Carl’s sweatpants, and Homer’s T-Shirt; would have more hair, slightly better intelligence, and would have instant access to sex because of Marge)

Carl (Aqua Teen Hunger Force) + Homer Simpson (The Simpsons) = Hermerl (would have more hair, slightly better intelligence, and would have instant access to sex because of Marge)

Gumby + Hercules = Gumbercules (strong, flexible, and can morph into different shapes; I admit that this fusion came from Futurama)

Angelica (Rugrats:  AGU) + Vicky (Fairly Odd Parents) = Angickya (twice as mean, self absorbed, and would really give Timmy Turner a hard time)

Choutzu (DBZ) + SnowPea (Mucha Lucha) = Pale Beany (a stronger, whiter, and still highly overlooked character that’s in a series)

Phillip J. Fry (Futurama) + Bender (Futurama) = Fryder (a cyborg that is sadly now too stupid to get away with stealing and is powered by Slurm)

Mandy (The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy) + Sabrina (Sabrina the Teenage Witch animated series) = Sandy (a mean witch who has enough sense to think about the repercussions of her spells before she uses them)

Johnny Bravo + Johnny Cage (Mortal Kombat) = Johnny Crago (as if his ego couldn’t get any bigger…at least now he has some fighting skills)

Eddy (Ed, Edd n Eddy) + Alvin (Alvin and the Chipmunks) = Eldvyn (a small, sneaky humunk who’s a master at unsuccessful scams, a love of jawbreakers, and a great singing voice)

Ryo of Wildfire (Ronin Warriors) + Roronoa Zoro (One Piece) = Rorynoa (a Ronin Warrior with the powers of fire and the fighting style of santoryu, also known as “three sword style”; with a sword being wielded in each hand and one in his mouth, it’s almost certain that there will be more action and less talking)

Janemba (DBZ) + Knives (Trigun) = Knavembes (a demonic, plant based creature with the manipulation and destruction of the human race being his only drive for existing; though ironic to have an angel arm while being a devil, the powerful attack could easily be transported to multiple dimensions in an instant)

Janemba (DBZ) + Aku (Samurai Jack) = Jakembu (with the combined powers of a shape shifter and a reality bender, the world would be in utter chaos; Jack would have a heck of a time in this battle…)

Goku (DBZ) + Samurai Jack = Gacku (the only one who’d be able to defeat Jakembu, the Super Saiya-jin samurai would be a powerful force to be reckoned with)

Dr. Briefs (DBZ) + Dexter (Dexter’s Laboratory) = Dr. Drixtef (a super genius who could change the world with his inventions and, with the security of Capsule Corps., Dee Dee won’t be able to destroy any inventions that easily)

Dr. Gero (DBZ) + Mandark (Dexter’s Laboratory) = Dr. Gendrako (an evil competitor for Dr. Drixtef; even though there would still be a slight attraction to Dee Dee, the will of overtaking Capsule Corp. would be stronger)

Samurai Jack + Rurouni Kenshin = Samurai Kenshin (a powerful sword wielding warrior that would be more than a match to take on Aku)

Amy (Sonic the Hedgehog) + Blossum (The Powerpuff Girls) = Blassumy (powerful hedgegirl with good hammer skills and super powers; maybe now her increased speed will be enough to catch Sonic)

Hong Kong Phooey + Mr. Satan (DBZ) = Mr. Khong Phataey (a strong martial artist that’s a good comic relief; also has a strange knack for helping out at times, usually in the most unexpected way)

Brandy (Brandy & Mr. Whiskers) + Angelica (Rugrats:  AGU) = Brangedyca (half dog, half human, and constantly self-absorbed in herself to notice others; can be kind and considerate, but that’s something that would be rare for her)

Bloo (Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends) + Blinky (“Pac-Man” animated series) = Blooky (a purple ghost looking imaginary friend that would have good trickery skills; would be fast, seeing as how it has experience in running away from Pac-Man and other imaginary friends)

This is a list of all of the cartoon fusions that have been thought up on the GameFaqs forum by me an many others. Even though the majority of the fusions came from my own thoughts, there are a few that others have come up with. I thought I'd place it here as a secondary place to store this document.

Also, this document will always be updated whenever a new fusion idea comes to mind.
